In March 2022, during the second month of the war in Ukraine, I was fortunate as a photographer to visit a military hospital. I captured the images of the dedicated medical professionals - doctors and nurses - who had essentially lived there for the past two months, never leaving. Despite their exhaustion, their faces reflected inspiration and light. Their eyes held an incredible depth, and their smiles radiated warmth. They were like angels of life, tirelessly working to save and heal those affected by the conflict.
Through my photographs, I aimed to capture the resilience and humanity of these extraordinary individuals. Their unwavering dedication and courage in the face of adversity were truly awe-inspiring. They serve as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is a place for light to shine.
